Silver Taiga Staff is Getting More Experience in the Forest

Silver Taiga staff has changed lately. Traditionally everyone working in Silver Taiga should know the specific of the Foundation and should be a forest and nature lover. On April 21-22, 2009 Silver Taiga ecologists organized a field tour in Komi Model Forest for the whole staff.

Silver Taiga staff got acquainted with the Komi Model Forest routes and polygons. These routes and polygons have been visited by more than one thousand people interested in the forest. Silver Taiga staff listened to the guides attentively, asked questions and tried to find unique taiga representatives with gusto.

Having returned back to the office the staff discussed the excursion for a long time as everyone was impressed greatly. As the result of the excursion the motivation of the nature preserving activity and total understanding of ecological problems of the forest have strengthened.
